Lead Pastors
Our incredible Lead Pastor family has been with us since November of 2010. Pastor Nathan, in addition to serving as our Lead Pastor, serves as the a Garden City Police Department Chaplain, Kansas Assemblies of God Presbyter, National Chi Alpha Board Member and faithful community member of Garden City, KS. Our First Lady, Amber, serves the church in many ways - Nursery, Music Team, Event Coordinator, Finances and more. Their three children, Nathaniel (far right), Jonathan (far left), and Natalie are in the mix of everything this special family does - they serve faithfully and together!
Ryan and MacKenzie Witzke
Youth, Music and Administration
This special couple has been serving in multiple roles at Garden City First Assembly since March of 2019, when they moved back to West Kansas. Pastor Ryan serves as our Worship Pastor and works in the marketplace as an electrician. Pastor MacKenzie serves as our Administrative Pastor. Ryan and MacKenzie also serve as our 620 Student Ministries Pastors.
Nate, Shelby, Idaline, Abigail and Desmond Maas
KidsFirst Pastors
This sweet and dedicated family has been with us as staff since February of 2022, but have called First Assembly their home since 2015/2016. Nate grew up in Holcomb, Kansas and now works at Sunflower Electric. Shelby lived many years of her life in Garden City and has always felt a call to Kids Ministry. Their three children, Desmond (far left), Idaline (middle), and Abigail (far right) go where mom and dad go, bringing joy and laughter in their wake. Shelby and Nate desire to see Kids fall in love with Jesus and serve Him with their whole lives.
